The Tiszafüred Police Department is conducting criminal proceedings against K.R.E. due to well-founded suspicion of the crime of sexual violence committed against a Belgian citizen to the detriment of a victim under the age of 18, police.hu reports.

The 36-year-old man raped his victim in his apartment in Tiszaszentimre in the summer of 2021. The Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county police managed to prosecute the man, and the Szolnok Court ordered the criminal supervision of the suspect. Based on this, he could only have left his property in Tiszaszentimre with a special permit. However, K.R.E escaped from his assigned residence on May 21st, 2022, and has been hiding in an unknown location since then. In order to find the Belgian citizen, the investigators of the Tiszafüred Police Department analyzed the data available to them, from which they concluded that the wanted person may be abroad, presumably in Belgium. Thus, they contacted the Targeting Department of the Life Protection and Targeting Department of the National Investigation Bureau of the Emergency Police to ask for its help in apprehending the wanted person. The Hungarian bounty hunters contacted the Belgian surveillance unit through the International Network of Targeting Units (ENFAST), then mapped the man’s location and organized an operation to capture him. The raid took place on November 10th, 2022 in Lommel, Belgium. K.R.E. he is now in extradition custody waiting for the Belgian police to hand him over to their Hungarian colleagues.
